Stop managing your IT.
Start running your business.
A complete managed IT service — network, security, cloud, help desk, and strategic planning — sized for small businesses across three counties.
VJNetworks provides managed IT services to small businesses across Rockland County NY, Westchester County NY, and Bergen County NJ. For a flat monthly fee, VJNetworks manages your entire technology environment — network, security, cloud, help desk, and strategic planning — so your team stays productive and your data stays protected. VJNetworks has provided managed IT services since 2004 and retains 97% of clients for 20 or more years.
You probably recognize at least one of them.
The one-man IT shop
You hired a local IT person, or maybe a small shop down the road handles things when something breaks. It’s fine — until it isn’t. That person gets sick. Takes a vacation. Burns out, quits, and takes every password and configuration note in their head with them. No documentation. No backup. You’re staring at a down network on a Tuesday morning with no one to call.
The big faceless MSP
You upgraded. Signed with a larger provider to get more coverage. And then discovered that “more coverage” means a ticket queue, a different technician every call, and explaining your setup from scratch each time. You’re paying more for a worse relationship than you had before.
Most small businesses in Rockland, Westchester, and Bergen are stuck somewhere between those two failure modes. Not big enough to need enterprise IT, not small enough to get away with break-fix. There’s a gap there, and it’s where things go wrong.
VJNetworks was built to sit in that gap. Big enough to manage enterprise-grade infrastructure. Small enough to know your name.
One flat monthly fee. We take the whole thing off your plate.
The old model worked like this: something broke, you called someone, they fixed it and billed you by the hour. No incentive to prevent the problem, no documentation of your environment, and every emergency call was expensive and stressful.
The managed model flips that. VJNetworks gets paid the same whether we send a technician once or twelve times — so we’re financially motivated to keep your systems running, and we’re actively monitoring them to do exactly that.
Everything in VJNetworks’s managed IT service.
Network Management & Monitoring
Switches, routers, firewalls, and access points monitored continuously by automated tools around the clock. We watch traffic, spot anomalies, and address issues before they become outages. Firmware, configs, and documentation maintained by us — not gathering dust in a shared drive.
Help Desk & End-User Support
Your team calls or messages us. Our response commitment is 15 minutes during business hours, and the person who answers already knows your systems. Not a call center. The same team that built your network is the team you talk to when your laptop won’t connect.
Cybersecurity
EDR, multi-factor authentication, email security, phishing protection, and security awareness training — all included, not bolted on as an add-on tier. Ransomware accounted for 90% of SMB incident response cases in 2024 (ITIC). Small businesses are targets. We build security into every engagement.
Backup & Disaster Recovery
Daily backups, tested regularly. “We have backups” means nothing if they haven’t been verified to actually restore. We document what’s backed up, how often, and how long recovery takes — so you’ll know what to expect before it happens, not during.
Cloud & Microsoft 365
Setup, licensing, ongoing management, and security configuration for Microsoft 365. We’re a Microsoft Partner with Azure-certified team members. About 95% of our clients run Microsoft stacks. We know them well.
Patch Management & Updates
OS patches, application updates, firmware — scheduled and applied without you thinking about it. Most breaches exploit vulnerabilities that have had patches available for months. We close that window.
Vendor Management
Your ISP is having an outage. Your line-of-business software isn’t syncing. Your hardware vendor needs configuration specs. We deal with all of it — you shouldn’t spend an afternoon on hold with a phone company when you’re trying to run a business.
Strategic Planning (vCIO)
We review your environment quarterly, flag what’s aging, and help you plan ahead — so you’re not surprised by a $15,000 server replacement with two weeks’ notice. For clients who want it, this extends into full virtual CIO services with roadmaps and budget planning.
Onboarding & Offboarding
When you hire, we provision accounts, configure devices, and set up access. When someone leaves, access is revoked immediately. That second part matters more than most owners realize — until they have an ex-employee in an active email account.
Hardware Lifecycle Management
We track what you have, when it was purchased, and when it needs to be replaced. Procurement, deployment, and refresh planning — without you having to decide between buying five laptops without knowing what specs to get.
We don’t try to be everything to everyone.
You’re a small business or municipality in Rockland County NY, Westchester County NY, or Bergen County NJ with five to fifty employees running primarily on Microsoft technology. You want IT handled completely so you can focus on your business. You’ve either outgrown a single IT person or you’re tired of a larger provider that treats you like a ticket number.
It’s also right if you’re a CPA firm, healthcare practice, financial services firm, construction company, consulting firm, insurance broker, or multi-location business where IT continuity directly affects client service and compliance.
You’re looking for a national enterprise MSP with a badge wall and Fortune 500 logos. We serve businesses across Northern New Jersey and nearby Hudson Valley communities. We don’t try to be everything to everyone.
Straightforward pricing, scoped to your environment.
Managed IT services with VJNetworks starts at $995 per month. For a business with ten to fifteen employees, typical engagements run $1,000 to $2,800 per month depending on environment complexity, number of servers, and compliance requirements.
In the New York metro market specifically, fully managed small-business IT runs $100 to $300 per user per month depending on service depth and environment complexity, according to Corsica Technologies’ 2026 managed IT pricing guide. VJNetworks prices within that range.
What’s not included: after-hours emergency calls for non-managed clients, major project work such as new office buildouts or full infrastructure migrations, hardware purchases, and software licensing beyond what we manage under contract. We’ll spell all of this out before you sign anything.
The question worth asking isn’t what the monthly fee is. It’s what a day of downtime costs your business. According to Datto’s SMB cybersecurity research, the average cost of downtime for small businesses runs around $8,000 per hour. At that rate, one serious outage can cost more than a year of managed IT service. Our clients stay for an average of 20 years because that math isn’t abstract to them anymore.
We learn your vertical so you don’t have to teach us.
Accounting & CPA Firms
Tax season is the worst possible time for systems to go down. We work with firms across Rockland, Westchester, and Bergen — including Kreinces & Co. CPAs, Lugo Nutrition, and Michael Zbar & Peter M. Leung LLP. We understand what peak season means operationally and plan around it.
See managed IT for accounting firms →Healthcare Practices
HIPAA compliance isn’t a checkbox. We maintain HIPAA-compliant operating practices and support healthcare clients on access controls, encryption, documentation, and security assessments.
Construction Firms
Project deadlines don’t wait for IT problems. Construction companies managing job sites, subcontractors, and estimating software need systems that stay up and support they can reach fast.
Professional Services Firms
Financial advisors, insurance brokers, consultants, HR firms, marketing agencies — firms where client data, uptime, and fast communication are core to how the business operates. We know this vertical well.
Multi-Location Businesses
We’ve scaled clients across dozens of locations, standardizing infrastructure, support processes, and security configurations across every site. One point of contact. Consistent coverage.
Don’t see your industry?
If you’re a small business running on computers, we should talk.
SCHEDULE A CALL ↗︎Three counties. Focused on purpose.
Rockland County, NY
Our home base. We were headquartered in Congers until 2014, then went fully remote. Haverstraw, Stony Point, New City, Nanuet, Pearl River, Suffern, Nyack — if you’re in Rockland, you’re local to us.
See all Rockland County IT services →Westchester County, NY
From Cortlandt to Mamaroneck, we serve all of Westchester.
Bergen County, NJ
Hackensack, Paramus, Fort Lee, Mahwah, and surrounding areas. New Jersey businesses make up a meaningful portion of our client base.
We don’t serve NYC’s five boroughs or Long Island. Those exclusions are intentional — staying focused on the Tri-State area outside of NYC is what lets us do this well.
Four stats tell most of the story.
The businesses who hired us, stayed.
“VJNetworks not only design, service and support our systems, but ANTICIPATE our near and mid-term needs and enhancements to maintain the integrity, operations and reliability of our complex business and tax applications.”
“VJNetworks has become the team member that makes them work. Their commitment to achieving that is outstanding. VJNetworks deals with issues, big or small, with calm and focused diligence. Our business runs better because VJNetworks is part of it.”
“VJNetworks’ honesty is what puts them above and beyond other firms. In the past with other firms I have felt that I was being lied to in order to create unnecessary charges. I spent years managing our firm’s IT myself because I couldn’t find a company I could trust.”
Retention isn’t luck. It’s how we operate.
A team, not a person.
When your dedicated IT person quits, everything they knew walks out with them. VJNetworks is a team. Institutional knowledge is documented and shared. No single point of failure. That redundancy is part of what you’re paying for.
We already know your environment.
The technician who picks up isn’t reading your ticket for the first time. They know your network, your software, your quirks. That’s what 20+ years of relationship-first IT looks like in practice.
Plain English, not tech jargon.
We’re not going to explain your problem in acronyms and hope you nod along. If something’s wrong, we’ll tell you what it is, what it means for your business, and what we’re doing about it.
Proactive before reactive.
We’re watching your environment before something breaks. Most of the problems our clients never hear about are the ones we caught and fixed before they became outages.
Four steps. Most clients are onboarded in a week.
Free IT Assessment
We look at what you have, how it’s configured, and what the gaps are. No obligation, no sales script. Just an honest picture of where things stand.
Proposal & Scope
Based on what we find, we put together a proposal covering exactly what’s included, what’s not, and what it costs. You’ll know what you’re getting before you sign anything.
Onboarding
We document your environment, install our monitoring and management tools, and get familiar with your systems. Most clients are fully onboarded in a week.
Day-to-Day Management
Your team calls or messages when they need help. We respond in 15 minutes. In the background, we’re monitoring, patching, and maintaining everything. You stop thinking about IT.
About managed IT services.
What is managed IT services?
An arrangement where an external IT team takes full responsibility for your technology environment — network, security, cloud, help desk, and IT planning — for a flat monthly fee. Instead of calling someone when something breaks and paying by the hour, a managed services provider monitors and maintains your systems proactively, so problems get caught before they affect your business.
How much does managed IT services cost?
VJNetworks managed IT services start at $995 per month. For businesses with ten to fifteen employees, typical engagements run $1,000 to $2,800 per month depending on environment complexity. In the New York metro market, fully managed small-business IT typically runs $100 to $300 per user per month depending on service depth (Corsica Technologies 2026 pricing guide). We assess your environment first, then propose a number. We don’t quote without knowing what we’re looking at.
What’s the difference between managed IT and break-fix IT?
Break-fix IT is reactive. Something breaks, you call, someone fixes it and bills you by the hour. There’s no monitoring, no prevention, and no financial incentive for the provider to keep things running. Managed IT is proactive. Your provider monitors your environment continuously and is financially motivated to prevent problems, because they get paid the same regardless of how often they need to intervene.
Is managed IT services right for a small business?
It depends on your IT situation. If you’re relying on one person who’s the single point of failure for your technology, or if you’re paying a larger MSP that doesn’t know your systems, managed IT from a right-sized provider usually makes both financial and operational sense. If you have five employees, simple needs, and no compliance requirements, the conversation might land differently — and we’d tell you that.
What’s included in your managed IT service?
Network monitoring and management, help desk support with a 15-minute response commitment, cybersecurity (EDR, MFA, email security), backup and disaster recovery, Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud management, patch management, vendor management, employee onboarding and offboarding, hardware lifecycle tracking, and strategic planning. We document what’s included and what isn’t before you sign.
How fast do you respond to IT issues?
We respond within 15 minutes during business hours. That’s a real person, not an auto-reply, and not someone reading your environment for the first time. For managed clients, after-hours critical issues are covered through our emergency response protocol. We don’t claim 24/7 staffed coverage — we’d rather be honest about what we offer than overpromise.
Do you serve businesses outside Rockland County?
Yes. We serve businesses across Rockland County NY, Westchester County NY, and Bergen County NJ. We don’t serve NYC’s five boroughs, Yonkers, Mount Vernon, or Paterson.
What happens if we’re not satisfied?
We offer a 90-day satisfaction guarantee. If you’re not satisfied within the first 90 days, we’ll tear up the contract. No collections process, no penalty, no fight.
Your IT shouldn’t be something you worry about.
VJNetworks is the option in the middle. The same team. The same 15-minute response. The same people who were managing your systems two years ago are managing them today. 97% of our clients stay — most for over 20 years.
